The following Ham Radio Frequency will be utilized by the Organizing Committee for Voice Communications during this year's Sno*Drift Rally. Both of these are found on the 2 meter band. The event will run through a directed net under FCC rules. Appropriate announcements will be made concerning the net before, during, and after the event.
For some locations a 50W 2 Meter FM radio and an antenna with a gain of 3dB may be required
146.76 MHz, Offset - PL Tone 88.5 from Alpena
146.82 MHz, Offset - PL Tone 118.8 from Gaylord
146.82 MHz will be the Supplemental Repeater for stages 10, 11, and 15 on Saturday.
146.76 MHz will be the Primary Repeater for Friday and stages 9,12, 13, 14, 16 and parts of 10, 11 and 15 on Saturday
Ham Radio operators involved with this year's event will be receiving detailed information soon.
Net Control will have a link to GRLevel3 Weather Radar and will broadcast any significant Weather related updates from the National Weather Service on the rally frequencies being utilized.
