Welcome….to the Sno*Drift Rally . The 2010 event is in the record books. The winners of the 2010 Sno*Drift Rally were Travis Pastrana and Christian Edstrom of Maryland, driving a Subaru. This team also won the event in 2007 and 2009. In 2008, they did not finish the event as they encountered a deer on the next to last stage. Sno*Drift was the first event of the 2010 Rally America National Championship series. Running concurrently were the Sno* and Drift Regional Rallies. For the second year in a row, Henry and Cindy Krolikowski of Wyandotte, Michigan, in a Subaru, were the winners of both Fridays Sno Regional event and Saturdays Drift Regional rally. For a complete list of winners and finishing positions of all competitors, click on the links elsewhere on the site. This is the 44th anniversary of the Sno*Drift Rally. Sno*Drift Rally was the first complete event ever held as a stage type or performance rally in 1973. The current series was restarted as a national event in Montmorency County in 1997. Sno*Drift Rally is unique in several ways. Besides being the only winter rally on the Rally America circuit, it is fully contained within Montmorency County, Michigan. The residents, business owners, city, township and county officials, sheriff’s department, road commission, Tri-Township EMS, Atlanta Senior Center and Atlanta Community Schools are extremely generous and warmly welcome the rally racers, their crews and the volunteer workers. The May family generously donated the use of the gravel pit property for the site of our Super Special stage. Without all of their cooperation we could not hold our event. We thank them all for their hospitality. The practice stage on Friday morning was again used as a fundraiser by the rally. All proceeds from the runs will be divided between the Lewiston Community Sharing and the Atlanta Helping Hands organizations. Another local charity, The Baby Basket, is also supported by the Sno*Drift Rally Organizers. We hope our contribution will help some of the disadvantaged county residents. We would also like to thank our sponsors and advertisers. We had several spectator stages sponsored by local area businesses that awarded cash prizes for various competitors. The sponsored stages and winners for 2010 were:
